| Introduction: Kathie is one-forth Irish, one-forth Italian, one-forth Cherokee and one-forth Chinese. She has traveled 49 of the 50 states, and when we grow up we will go to Hawaii, Lord willing! When we met, in 1979, Kathie worked for the City of Bartlesville, and I was a contracter analyst at Phillips Petroleum. Kathie as 5 children from a previous marriage, and I have 6 children from a previous marriage. As you can imagine, life has been, and is very interesting! Top Back The Beginning: We first met in June of 1979 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. .. I was sitting at the bar at King's Retreat when this angel walked in! .. "Care to Dance?" I asked. .. SHE SAID "YES", AND WE DANCED ALL NIGHT LONG! .. Then we dated all summer, fall and winter; and were married in an Assembly of God church in Wichita, Kansas on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1980! .. We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary this year. .. I love her more than first we met! .. Kathie is the most wonderful blessing God has given me! Top Back
